Scarlett Sieber, managing director and chief innovation & strategy officer at CCG Catalyst, attended Sibos last week in London and discussed the future of money and banking on a panel during the Innotribe portion of the event.
Afterward she sat down with Liz Lumley, director of content and fintech at London’s VC Innovations and elaborated on her vision for the future. She began with an overview of the consolidation sweeping the U.S. banking industry today. More than 200 financial institutions have been acquired this year alone, and the industry has lost a third of its banks in the last decade.
